Remove (dismiss) a Director

Overview: UAE company/legal entity may remove the director at any time. However, a company/legal entity must always have at least one director.

Purpose: Remove (dismiss) a Director of a company/legal entity

Main specifications:

• Multiple dismissals simultaneously are possible
• Natural and/or legal person may be dismissed

Registering authority: UAE  Trade Register

Term of registration: 7-10 working days

Personal presence: Not required

Conditions for registration:

• Director`s written confirmation of the dismissal

Required documents:

• Passport or Emirates ID card (for all associated persons);
• Extract from the Trade Register not older than 3 months (for all associated legal persons)
• Signed Decision on the dismissal of the director of the company/legal entity
