Amendment of the Articles of Association

Overview: UAE company/legal entity may change the Articles of Association at any time.

Main specifications:

• required in case of change of company/legal entity name, company/legal entity activities, and any other provisions of the Articles of Association
• requires a decision of the general meeting of the owners

Purpose: Amendment of the Articles of Association

Registering authority: the UAE Trade Register

Term of registration: 2-3 working days

Personal presence: Not required

Conditions for registration:

• General meeting of the owners (e.g. shareholders, members) on the change of the Articles of Association

Required documents:

• Passport or European ID card (for all associated persons)
• Proof of residential address not older than 3 months (for all associated natural persons)
• Extract from the Trade Register not older than 3 months (for all associated legal persons)
• Signed Decision on the change of the Articles of Association of the company/legal entity
• Power of attorney (in case of remote registration)
• Signed copy of the deed of amendment of the Articles of Association
